This is a new SCE 9428 Pro Copper T3/T4 base 4 Bolt Turbo Flange Gasket SCE introduced the first embossed copper exhaust gaskets in 1995, and they are still the best way to seal a warped or uneven exhaust manifold or header sealing surface. In house design, tooling and manufacture insure superior quality gaskets for the widest array of applications. Whether on your tow vehicle, motor home, hot rod or racecar, a properly fitted SCE Pro Copper exhaust gasket will form a permanent trouble free seal.
For proper sealing the embossment (raised seal) should match the opening of the turbo pipe flange, the turbine housing port is of secondary concern since it is most often smaller than the header opening.
Copper is malleable so the gasket conforms to surface irregularities filling in leak paths, unlike multi layer steel which is too hard for all but the smoothest surfaces. New parts carry a 90 day warranty on workmanship & defects. Some products carry a longer warranty through the manufacturer THERE IS A 10% RE-STOCKING FEE FOR ALL RETURNS. MUST HAVE A RGA # BEFORE RETURNING. ONLY NEW ITEMS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN. The Warranty on new items is through the Manufacturer and you must follow their protocol for exchange/return. Buyer pays all freight charges to return regardless of reason. NO Returns on Fabricated covers or Special Order parts.
